Tony Perez’s 2,700th Hit

July 22, 1986: Tony Perez got his 2,700th career hit against the Mets at Riverfront Stadium. He hit a single to CF off Bob Ojeda in B2 for his 2,700th hit. He ended his career with 2,732 hits. He was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 2000.
