Tony Perez hits his 200th home run
Reds 5, Phillies 4 in Philadelphia
July 7, 1973: Tony Perez hit his 200th career home run against the Phillies at Veterans Stadium. He hit a 2-run home run off Jim Lonborg, driving in Dan Driessen in T1. He ended his career with 379 home runs and 1,652 RBIs. He was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 2000.
