Tony Perez gets his 1,000th RBI
Reds 11, Cubs 4 in Chicago
Aug. 25, 1975: Tony Perez got his 1,000th career RBI against the Cubs at Wrigley Field. He hit a line drive single to LF off Rick Reuschel driving in Joe Morgan for his 1,000th RBI in T3. He ended his career with 2,732 hits and 1,652 RBIs. He was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 2000.
