Tom Seaver’s 2,500th Strikeout

Aug. 31, 1977: Tom Seaver struck out Del Unser in B7 for his 2,500th strikeout. He ended his career with 3,640 strikeouts. He was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1992.
