Claudell Washington leads off B1 with a home run off Mario Soto. In B3, Soto knocks down Washington, eventually striking him out. In B5 Washington swings and throws his bat at Soto and charges the mound. Soto throws the ball into Washington’s back and the brawl begins.
Both are ejected from the game. In T8, Nick Esasky hit a double off Steve Bedrosian driving in Dave Concepcion for the game-winning run.
