Joe Morgan’s 2,000th Hit

Sept. 7, 1979: Joe Morgan gets his 2,000th career hit with a single to RF in B1 off Charlie Hough. Grandma missed this game, but you can see she was tracking his hits to 2,000 on her 9/6/79 scoresheet. He ended his career with 2,517 hits. He was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1990.
