Grandma’s notes say, “I missed the games from June 25th to July 15/84 was with Miss Bosser at her place”. Miss Bosser was grandma’s landlord when she moved into an apartment after she and grandpa separated. They became dear friends. Miss Bosser really helped out grandma when she was living alone and raising her children trying to put her daughters through private high school. When Miss Bosser was near the end of her life, they asked if Minnie Lee would come and be with her in those final days. This is why she missed these games during this time. EVERYONE loved Minnie Lee. I sincerely mean it.
