May 12, 1987: David Cone pitched his first complete game and earned his first career win by beating the Reds at Riverfront Stadium. I unfortunately cut up this scoresheet but we can see her notes.

She struggled with spelling his name for some reason. “David Cowan won 1st win, complete game. Stone, Cone 1st win for this season & just a good game. Whatever his name is.”

He ended his career with 194 wins and 56 complete games.
