Barry Larkin ties MLB record for 5 home runs in consecutive days
June, 27, 1991: Grandma ran out of paper in her 1991 book and she lets us know on the cover of the 1982 book that there’s 1991 games in it. He hit two home runs off Jose Melendez in B1 (Deep LF Line) & B5 (Deep LF), Reds beat Padres 3-0 in Cincinnati.
June 28, 1991: He hit three home runs off Jim Deshaies in B1 (Deep LF-CF), B3 (Deep CF-RF), & B5. He ended his career with 198 home runs. He was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 2012.
