August 9, 1981: Gary Carter MVP

Grandma was in the hospital having surgery. She obviously asked the nurse for paper so she could keep score. She writes, “I was in the hospital when this game played.” When I see this scorecard, I always think about her asking for some paper and a pen to score it. “Excuse me nurse, Can I please have a sheet of paper so I can keep score for this All-Star Game?”
